How to apply

Our online application form allows you to submit your application directly to us for consideration. We aim to answer each application within 10 working days. Once it has been reviewed, you may be made a conditional offer. A firm offer will only be made once we have received your supporting documentation as specified in the conditional offer. We will keep you informed of the process in writing.

All supporting documentation must be received by the application deadline.

Personal statement

All distance learning applications must include a 500-word personal statement. You should give your reasoning for wanting to study your selected programme and why you want to study with the Centre. You should also provide an account of your academic background and present job or career. It does not matter whether your interest in studying is for career advancement or personal interest, but it is important that we are convinced of your commitment to a sustained programme of study.

Supporting documentation for applications

For all distance learning programmes we require supporting documentation giving evidence of the following:

  • Full name and date of birth
  • Qualifications (including English language proficiency, where required)

For details about the acceptable forms of evidence, along with information about getting your documents verified, please visit the Documentary evidence for applications page.

It is your responsibility to arrange for all the necessary documentation to be obtained in support of your application. We cannot undertake this on your behalf.

Please note that, if necessary, we reserve the right to verify your qualifications with the relevant awarding body and to request further information from you about your background.

All supporting documentation must be received by the application deadline.

Please send your supporting documents to the following address:

Current undergraduates

Undergraduates in the final stages of completing their degree are welcome to apply through the usual application process. Offers are conditional upon good degree results and confirmation is dependent upon our receipt of your transcript. If your university prefers to send a copy of your transcript directly to us, please indicate this on the Application Form. It is your responsibility to ensure that an official transcript (or a certified copy) is sent to us as soon as possible and before the application deadline. We can only enrol students who have satisfied the requirements for entry by the start date of the relevant programme.
