Administrative staff
Our Student Support team are always available to answer your queries. You are assigned an Administrator who will support you during your studies right through from application to graduation.
We also have a dedicated Learning Media Production team who oversee the production of printed and online learing materials for the Centre's programmes and ensure the despatch of your course materials to wherever you are based in the world.
Academic staff
We have a team of 80 online academic tutors who are knowledgeable in their field and experienced in supporting the needs of distance learning students. You are individually assigned an online academic tutor for the duration of each course with whom you can discuss academic queries on the Online Study Centre at regular intervals during the study session.
Each of our programmes is run by an Academic Programme Director who is based on-campus at SOAS. Research provides the foundations for all of our teaching and programme development. Our departmental academic staff have international reputations and are at the forefront of their field, publishing their work and sharing globally with other academcis, decision-makers and opinion-formers.
