MSc Financial Economics
[This programme is only available to continuing students who registered with effect from 1 June 2008 or earlier.]
Programme Description
There is an international need for graduates who have an understanding of global activities and trends in finance as well as the knowledge and expertise to interpret them. The courses in the MSc in Financial Economics range from the analysis of macroeconomic policy and econometric principles to international finance and banking and capital markets. It is an advantage if you already have a formal training in economics, such as a first degree in the subject. If you do not have this or feel your understanding of economics needs improving, you can take the Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Principles as an entry qualification.
