MSc Financial Management

Programme Description

The financial world is becoming ever more international and ever more complex. There is a need for graduates who have the analytical skills to enable them to understand these developments. The courses in this MSc range from the analysis of the macroeconomic environment of financial operations to the principles of portfolio management in equity and derivatives markets.

Careers

The programme provides an invaluable preparation for graduates who want to achieve high positions in commercial banks, investment banks, fund management institutions or corporate treasurers' departments.

Entry requirements

You should either have a good degree in finance, economics or another appropriate discipline (qualifications in other subjects will be assessed on their merits), or an equivalent qualification and suitable relevant work experience.

Programme length

A minimum of two years; maximum registration of five years.

You will choose seven courses from the list below. There is also an option to write a 10,000 word dissertation, subject to a review of your academic performance so far.
