Programme Description

Public sector organisations need good managers. The Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management is a preparation for managing and advising public sector organisations. There is an emphasis on managing people, managing change and designing and using information systems.

By following this programme you will be well qualified for senior positions in government public services, international organisations and NGOs.

Entry requirements

You should have a good first degree in a social sciences discipline or another appropriate discipline from a recognised university (qualifications in other subjects will be assessed on their merits). Previous education and experience without a first degree will be considered if qualifications are judged to be equivalent to a first degree and included suitable preliminary training.

Language requirements
You will require a high level of English language ability in reading, writing, and study skills. If English is a second language, you may be asked to provide evidence of language ability as tested by the British Council or another registered body. You are required to have internet access to participate in this programme.

Programme length

The programme takes a minimum of one year to complete. Each of the courses lasts eight weeks. You are registered for a maximum of five years.
