Lecture by HE Luisa Dias Diogo on 24 November 2010
In 1992, HE Luisa Dias Diogo, the former Prime Minister of Mozambique (2004-2010), graduated with a Master's degree in Financial Economics at SOAS, University of London. This programme was one of the first offered by the Centre for Financial and Management Studies (formerly CIEE), almost 20 years ago.
To honour the achievements of such a prestigious SOAS alumna, HE Luisa Diogo was awarded a Doctor of Science (Economics) degree as part of the 2010 University of London Foundation Day celebrations.
To mark this event, Luisa gave a lecture at SOAS on the reconstruction and development of Mozambique, followed by a Q&A session chaired by the Director of SOAS, Prof Paul Webley. This lecture is available here for you to listen to and download.
